Southern Self Storage 2024 Managers’ Conference Logo
Background
Every other year, Southern Self Storage holds a conference for their managers. With the change in the economy, the demand for self-storage decreased. We knew going into 2023 that the next conference would put more focus on the managers’ duties and getting them involved.
Theme
Working with HR, the CEO, and COO, we narrowed down the top options and decided the 2024 conference’s theme and title would be “Building Up The Best.”
Design
I was tasked with then coming up with the logo that would be used on the T-shirts and in the table centerpieces. I incorporated a part of the company logo, the yellow and blue circle, to give it to make it both custom to the company and consistent. Below is the final result, followed by t-shirt mock-ups, and some of the other designs I created along the way to reach the final product.

I made a little preview flyer for the upcoming conference as a save the date and get excited notice for the team.
Southern Beatz
For Southern Self Storage’s 2022 Managers’ Conference, we had music and dancing after the awards ceremony. I created a logo for Southern Beatz, the DJing duo from our talent team that have experience DJing and with music. Below is the final design, put on a black T-shirt, and the design in other color options depending on the shirt color, and other options created along the way.
Kudos From The Customers
I created Kudos From The Customer as a way to boost our social media presence, show off our amazing managers, and a way to give props to our team. Though Southern Self Storage is a small company, stores, and even the corporate team don’t see the positive reviews and kind words that their peers may receive. This project was to share that recognition with the public and the Southern team. Featured below are some of the Kudos I designed. I included a variety of photos from different facilities. Even for reviews from the same state or same facility, I changed the photos to give a wide range of photos from different facilities and angles.
Review and Referral Table Tent
I designed a two-sided table tent for the leasing office. Like the rest of the brand products I created while working at Southern Self Storage, I included the same or similar elements such as fonts and colors.
